18 May '44: TOS USAAF with s/n 43-4899. 7/44: 42nd BG in the Philippines; assigned to replacement pool; never saw combat. 11/44: Returned to USA. Ca.12/44: Converted to TB-25H. 2/46: SOC. 1946 to 1953: 6 different owners as N37L. 1953: Modified as an executive aircraft and fitted with wingtip tanks. 1/56: Added air stair door and equipped with JATO. 5 more owners until 1970. 4 Dec '70: Inflight fire during a drug run, damaged in forced landing at Simons Island. Glynn County, GA, Sheriff seized the plane; kept it for over six years until it was sold. 2/80: Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum. Restored for static display '88-'90.
