7 Jun '44: TOS USAAF and served with several units. By 3/49: 52nd Air Base Group, Mitchel AFB, NY. Ca.1953: Converted to a TB-25N crew trainer. 18 Nov '57: SOC. 1/58: Converted to air tanker with a 1,000 gallon tank; registered as N5256V. 2/62: Fitted it with agricultural spray bars. 1968: WFU and stripped of its engines and left derelict at Grass Valley. 1976-1980: restored to airworthy condition. 1980: Air Force Museum Loan Program. 8/80: Flew to Beale AFB, CA for display. 4/95: Trucked to Hurlburt Field, FL, where it was restored to B-25J configuration without a top turret.
