Estrellas del Aire used two DC-9-14s; XA-RSQ stayed until the company ceased operations in 1994. The airliner continued flying for Aerolineas Internacionales afterwards, and was last noted at Mexico City in derelict condition in 2019, after more than 20 years of inactivity.
