This 727 was originally delivered to LACSA in November 1979. A lease followed with Mexicana before undergoing freighter conversion in April 1994. The plane then flew with Aeromexexpress and Capital Cargo before joining CAT on lease in February 2003. From November 2006 it was stored at OPF but evaded the axeman by joining Cargojet as C-GLCJ from December 2007 to January 2009, after which it was ferried to Victorville (VCV). Eight months later the plane was on its way to Nigeria as 5N-BMQ but it was eventually scrapped at Lagos (LOS) in 2014.
