This 727 was originally delivered to LACSA in November 1979. A lease followed with Mexicana before undergoing freighter conversion in April 1994. The plane then flew with Aeromexexpress and Capital Cargo before joining CAT on lease in February 2003. From November 2006 it was stored at OPF but evaded the axeman by joining Cargojet as C-GLCJ from December 2007 to January 2009, after which it was ferried to Victorville (VCV). Eight months later the plane was on its way to Nigeria as 5N-BMQ but it was eventually scrapped at Lagos (LOS) in 2014.

Delivered to LACSA as N1279E in 1979. Leased to Mexicana from 1990 to 1992. To Pacific Aircorp. and converted to a freighter in 1993. Leased to Aeromexpress in 1994 and Capital Cargo International Airlines in 1997. Stored at Tucson, AZ in 2001. To Custom Air Transport in 2003 and Cargojet as C-GLCJ in 2007. To N727WF then Allied Air as 5N-BMQ in 2009. Scrapped at Lagos in 2014.

Delivered new on lease 1st Nov 1979 and transferred to Mexicana Dec 1990

N1279E was a regular at Miami during the 90s, but everytime in with different company.
