Withdrawn from use in 1940. This aircraft was known as Quantico 1. It is believed to have been based at Turner Field because it had been built to accommodate larger higher performance aircraft than the original Quantico airstrip known as Brown Field. The R2D would have been the largest aircraft in use by the USMC when they were delivered.
