Developed in the early 1930's as an advanced (fighter) trainer aircraft. The first prototypes flew between November 1993 - February1934, with production beginning in 1935. Around 1000 aircraft were built and mostly used by Germany, Austria and Hungary (although other countries took deliveries as well). It was said to be highly popular amongst pilots due to its aerobatic capabilities and handling. The listed c/n and s/n is unconfirmed. Photo from W.
