Developed in the early 1930's as an advanced (fighter) trainer aircraft. The first prototypes flew between November 1993 - February1934, with production beginning in 1935. Around 1000 aircraft were built and mostly used by Germany, Austria and Hungary (although other countries took deliveries as well).
