This Dakota was delivered to the RAF as KN564 in May 1945. Ten years later she was delivered to the Royal Rhodesian Air Force as SR157, later RRAF708. With the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland was dissolved in 1963, the Dakotas and Pembrokes of the RRAF were transferred to the Northern Rhodesia Air Wing which became the Zambia Air Force after independence.
