Taken on strength with the Royal Australian Navy in 1952 as WH587. Retired in 1963 and exported to U.S. in 1965. In 1967 it was raced in the Silver Unlimited Air Race at Reno and won. It is currently located at Auburn, California. The FAA registration has expired, but at last report it is having maintenance performed for return to airworthy condition.
