This T-6J never served in the RNoAF. It started as 52-8570 with the USAF and transferred to the Luftwaffe as AA-622 in 1956. After it was struck off charge in 1966, it went to the Luftwaffenmuseum which donated it to the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum who restored and painted it to represent a Harvard Mk 2B with the fake serial number 8750 and the code M-BS. M was the type code assigned to the Harvards in the immediate post-war period. BS is the individual aircraft. The last code assigned to Harvard in service was M-BR. It is now displayed at the Norwegian Aviation Museum in Bodø. This photo is copyright © Kjell O Granlund - Scanavphoto, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
