Former Royal Canadian Navy 1598, this De Havilland Canada built tracker became 12198 in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1970. Sold to the Province of Saskatchewan in 1975 it was converted to a fire bomber. Tanker 501 was donated to the Saskatchewan Aviation Historical Society and is displayed at the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum in Saskatoon, SK.
