slide scan from the NK collection. - Silver City Airways flew two Vanguards in 1973, this one here was a former Air Canada aircraft, leased from Air Holdings. The aircraft was sold to France at the end of 1973 and was operated by EAS (as F-BUFT) and after 1987 by Intercargo Service (as F-GEJE). On February 06th, 1989 the plane crashed after take off from Marseille. This photo was added on 1 December 2022, and has since been viewed 372 times. |
