First flow on 15 June 1960 with Fokker test registration PH-FBO. It was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 6 July 1960. The Friendship was withdrawn from use on 26 September 1996. It was stored with Fokker at Woensdrecht and eventually sold to Valitrade on 18 December 1997.
