In service with the US Navy May 1953 until withdrawn in 1986 and preserved at Scott AFB, IL, this C-118B was sold in 1989 to Basler Flight Service .The aircraft would go to Mexico as XA-SCZ in 1992 before returning to the USA as N70BF in 1998. Initially flying freight out of Florida, it was converted for anti pollution duties with oil dispersal spray booms in 2001 and remains current at the time of uploading.
