This venerable old Sea Vampire has had an eventful service life including being; the first jet aircraft to land on a ship at sea, damaged when undercarriage 'up' was selected on the ground and being damaged during arrester barrier trials at RAE Farnborough. She has certainly earned her retirement on board the FAA Museum's 'aircraft carrier' at Yeovilton. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
