June/55: TOS USAF and assigned to the 93rd Bombardment (Heavy) Wing (SAC), Castle AFB, CA; first operational B-52 assigned to SAC. December/63: 22nd Bomb (H) Wing (SAC), March AFB, CA. 29 September 1965: Flown to Offutt AFB, NE, and struck off strength to put on display with the SAC Museum.
