22 Dec 1953: TOS USAF and assigned to the 7th Bombardment Wing (Heavy) at Carswell AFB, TX. 30 Sep 1954: 42nd Bomb Wing (H), Loring AFB, ME. 10 Aug 1956: 95th Bomb Wing (H) at Biggs AFB, TX. 2/59: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage. 14 Apr 1959: SOC. 22 Apr 1959: Flown to Offutt AFB, NE for display at the Strategic Air Command Museum; this was the next-to-last flight of a B-36. In 1997 it was disassembled and trucked to the new museum facility at Ashland, NE.

17 Jan '45: TOS USAAF as B-25J and assigned to the Air Technical Service Center, Brookley Field, AL. 4/45: Place in storage with several units. 10/51: Converted to TB-25J. 5/53: Upgraded TB-25L. 6/53: Converted it to TB-25M radar trainer. 4/55: Wright Air Development Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; converted to ETB-25M. 3/56: Redesignated JTB-25M. 9/59: SOC and ferried to the SAC Museum, Offutt AFB, NE. By 1994: Painted it in bogus desert camouflage scheme and named "Desert Doom" with a skull and crossbones painted on the nose. 1997: Trucked to new museum facility in Ashland, NE.

By 6/52: 3567th Maintenance Squadron, 3565th Maintenance & Support Group, James Connally AFB, Waco, TX. 12/58: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage. 5/59: Registered N3441G. 1960: WFU and parked in open storage, where it remained with several owners until acquired by the Air Force Museum in 1975 and trucked to Offutt AFB, NE for display at the Strategic Air Command Museum as a sectioned aircraft. This display was moved to the new Museum in 1998.
