André Japy made it from Paris to Norway and back in one day, in 15 hours of flying in his new C.600 Aiglon (eaglet). He made even longer one-day return flights from Paris to Oran and from Paris to Tunis in September 1935. In December he flew to Saigon in three days, but crashed F-ANVB in Baghdad during his return flight. Japy had built in three extra fuel tanks. Two other C.600s, F-ANSI and F-ANSK, were similarly modified for female pilots Andrée Dupeyron and Elisabeth Lion, and these two received the C.610 designation.
