The first CL44 built for the civil market. Used by Canadair for tests and demonstrations following its first flight on 16 November 1960, built as a CL-44D4-1. Delivered to Loftleidir as TF-LLH in May1965. Converted to CL-44J late 1966. Photographed at Fornebu summer 1971 by my friend Jan Olav Martinsen, who have given me the privilige of uploading his photos. 2.December 1971 sold to Cargolux, and converted to freighter. 12.May 1979 EI-BGO Aer Turas. Wfu January 1986 at Dublin and broken up in June 1986. This photo was added on 2 December 2023, and has since been viewed 1586 times. |
