This Electra was constructed as a XR20-1 in 1938 and TOC with the USN with BuNo 0267. The plane was based at NAS Anacostia for use as a staff transport by the Secretary of the Navy. Post-WWII it flew as N57573 and came to the NEAM in August 2010 where it has been wondefully restored in this Northwest Airlines scheme. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
