After ten years with Northwest Airlines (N737US) this Boeing 720 was acquired by Maersk Air in 1974. The aircraft was utilized on several short leases to Nigeria Airways, Air Malta and a long one (1981 - 87) to Conair of Scandinavia. Retired after the last lease, it was finally sold to the Boeing Equipment Holding Co in January 1992 and broken up for parts in the USAF KC-135E upgrade program.
