The Aviation Technical Museum first exhibits were aircraft which required maintenance and had been sent to Luhansk Aircraft Repair Plant. Some aircraft remained there, and subsequently were written from use and preserved for display in the museum. Su-24 Fencer-A 621 red is a former weapons test aircraft designated as T6-21. It is displayed with a Ukrainian crest, although its short service life may have come to an end before 1992 when the Soviet Union was dissolved.
