Delivered to Southern Airways December 27, 1955, N42D was converted to a E18S-9700 (9,700 pound (4,400 kg) gross weight - a 400 pound (200 kg) increase) within six months. Methow Aviation acquired the aircraft in 1981. It was in their fleet until 2006 when sold to Emerald Aircraft in nearby Issaquah, WA. In 2011 it went to Palmer, AK to haul fuel with Northern Aviation. The aircraft is current in Alaska with a private owner at the time of uploading.
