US Army (55-3262 ) delivered in May 1956 was transferred to the Army Transportation School in Fort Eustis, VA by January 1962. Sold at auction in poor condition in1978. Rebuilt as N90627 by Wilderness Wings Airways by 1981, who ceased business in 1983. The aircraft later flew in Alaska (later registrations were N666XX and N888KA). After a Vazar turbine conversion in 1989, the aircraft was sold to Ketchum Air Service. After a crash in August 1999 (a take-off without flaps), Kenmore Air bought the wreckage and contracted a rebuild as N707KA, entering service with large scenic windows in 2002.
