First flight at Long Beach July 25th 1969. Delivered new to KLM as PH-DEH "Vasco da Gama" on August 29th 1969. March 18th 1985 TF-FLT IIcelandair, named "Nordurfari". May 31st 1990 N512FP Hawaiian Airlines. September 1st 1993 N818AX Airborne express, converted to freighter. August 2003 wfu and stored at Wilmington Airborne Airpark, and later broken up there. Seen after arriving rwy 24 from Keflavik and parking at gate 38 at Fornebu in March 1989. This was the final day I saw FI DC-8 at FBU, whil Pan AM 727 is towed in background for a nightstop after arriving from LHR.
