Delivered to Eastern Airlines June 1, 1970, this 727 was leased to Pan American World Airways in June 1989. Christened Clipper Fortune with Pan Am, the airline ceased flying on December 4, 1991 (a fate suffered by Eastern Airlines eleven months earlier on January 18, 1991). The aircraft was acquired by leasing company Aeron Aviation Resources in August 1992. Stored at Mojave, CA, it was scrapped in January 1996.
