Built at Woodford in 1959, this was the second production Vulcan B.2 and the first with Olympus 201 engines, refuelling probe and tail cone ECM bulge. At the time of this appearance it was still on the strength of 230 OCU but became the first Vulcan to have an extended ECM fin tip, becoming a B.2 (MRR) with 27 Sqdn. Scrapped in February 1982 at St Athan. This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
