Delivered in March 1945, 44-31032 was placed in storage after WWII. Re-activated in 1947, it was used as a trainer until stored in 1957 and struck off strength in 1958. Sold in the 1960s as N3174G, is was one of the B-25s used in the 1970 movie Catch 22. Acquired by collector David Tallichet in 1971, it was stored at his compound at Chino, CA. In 1982 it moved to March AFB for display, undergoing restoration and several later paint schemes, a dorsal turret was also added.
