"Panchito" passing through smoke from pyrotechnics at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024. This aircraft was constructed as a B-25J-17-NC at Kansas City. It was taken on charge by the USAAF with s/n 44-30734 in Feb 1945. It went into storage and was then taken on charge by the USAF. Re-designated as TB-25J, it was used for pilot, navigator and bombardier training. In 1954 the aircraft went to the 102nd Radar Calibration Flight with New York ANG. It was converted to a TB-25N in Apr 1955 and struck off charge in Dec 1959. The original "Panchito" was flown by 396th BS, 41st BG in the Pacific.
