slide scan from the NK collection. - Lauda operated three FK-27s in the early 80ies. The aircraft shown here was lost as D-AELB ten years later. Conducting a test flight for FTG, it had to carry out an emergency landing in a snow covered field near Bergisch Gladbach; the pilots managed to get out, but the aircraft caught fire and was destroyed. This photo was added on 3 December 2024, and has since been viewed 137 times. |
