The MiG-19 served in the Bulgarian AF from 1958 to late 1978/early 1979, however, the type wasn't particularly liked as it suffered from poor engine reliability. All 12 of the MiG-19PMs were delivered brand new in 1959 with this example preserved in a (un-named?) park in the village centre. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
