Parked without titles after the demise of Court Line in 1974. This photo appears to have been taken from the McAlpine Aviation offices on the western side of the apron. This aircraft spent most of its subsequent career with Cathay Pacific before being acquired by Aer Turas in 1997 as EI-CNN. It was leased to a company called TBG who in turn operated it for a variety of carriers which included Air Malta, Air Inter, Iberia, Virgin Express, Kampuchea Airlines and Britannia. It was stored in Abu Dhabi from 1999 and eventually broken up there in late 2006. (Photographer not known.) This photo was added on 5 January 2025, and has since been viewed 151 times. |
