Parked without titles after the demise of Court Line in 1974. This photo appears to have been taken from the McAlpine Aviation offices on the western side of the apron. This aircraft spent most of its subsequent career with Cathay Pacific before being acquired by Aer Turas in 1997 as EI-CNN. It was leased to a company called TBG who in turn operated it for a variety of carriers which included Air Malta, Air Inter, Iberia, Virgin Express, Kampuchea Airlines and Britannia. It was stored in Abu Dhabi from 1999 and eventually broken up there in late 2006. (Photographer not known.)

The first Tristar on the British register. Delivered to Court Line 28th February 1973 and here performing a couple of passes at the Air Fair. Bought back by Lockheed on 16th August 1974 after Court Line's collapse.

Court Line Lockheed L.1011-385 TriStar G-BAAA "Halcyon Days" photographed taxiing out past the public enclosure at Luton on 20th May 1973. It was cancelled from the British register in March 1977 when it was sold to Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong as VR-HHV.

Seen here crew training soon after becoming the first TriStar to be based in Europe. Unfortunately the 'Halcyon Days' didn't last too long and on 15.8.74 Court Line collapsed. Bought back by Lockheed and eventually became Cathay Pacific's VR-HHV in 1977, staying with them for the next 20 years. After that she had an itinerant career as EI-CNN with Aer Turas, TBG, Kampuchea A/l and Air Scandic, being placed into storage at Abu Dhabi in 7.00 and ultimately scrapped in 11.06

This aircraft, named Halcyon Days, is seen at the airline maintenace area at Luton. It was the first Tristar on the British Register. Delivered to Court Line 28.02.73 Bought back by Lockheed 16.08.74.

This aircraft was ex Court line but carries no titles. I have been unable to find a log with the aircraft in it but Court Line went into bankruptcy on 15th August, 1974. The fact that it carries no titles means that it was after that date, but before it was flown to Palmdale where it was stored for a short time before being sold to Cathay Pacific as VR-HHV
