On display at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum. This O-2A was built in 1967 and assigned USAF s/n 67-21330, later put to civilian use. It was powered by a pair of push-pull 210 hp Continental IO-360-D engines. Intended to replace the O-1 Bird Dog, the type was used in the observation and FAC role during the Vietnam War by Tactical Air Support Squadrons (TASS), some of which operated at night over the Ho Chi Minh Trail. A total of 479 O-2As and 31 O-2Bs were built, with the latter undertaking psychological warfare missions. O-2As also equipped VNAF Observation Squadrons during the war.
