On display at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum. The lightweight Tiger was Grumman's first supersonic fighter. It was found to be underpowered by its Wright J65-W-6 engine, short on range and endurance. The F-11 served aboard carriers from 1956-61, equipping seven USN squadrons. It stayed on as a trainer and demo aircraft till 1969. Built in 1955, this short-nose Tiger served with Naval Air Test Center, Patuxent River. It was struck off charge on 23 Feb 1960. Previously displayed at Admiral Farragut Academy, FL, it is painted as a Blue Angels aircraft that flew the type from 1957-69.

On display at Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum. The Noralpha was built on the design of the Messerschmitt Me-208, of which two prototypes were completed by Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord (SNCAN) at Les Mureaux in 1944. SNCAN was already building the Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun during occupied France in 1942, as production of less important aircraft were shifted out of Germany to bolster fighter production. The Me-208 was a larger version of the Taifun that featured a retractable tricycle undercarriage. This Noralpha built post-war carries the emblem of I./JG 27.

With no flaps, retractable landing gear or a variable pitch propeller, these simple aircraft helped train thousands of USAAF and USN pilots in World War II. The N2S-3 Kaydet was powered by a 220 hp Continental R-670-4 engine. BuNo 07591 was accepted by the USN on 02 Feb 1943 at Wichita. The primary trainer went to NAS Memphis, 8ND in Feb 1943. It went to NAS Bunker Hill, 9ND in Sep 1943. In Oct 1944 it moved to NAAS Cabaniss, 8ND. The N2S-3 was stricken from USN service in Aug 1946.

This Canberra was built as a B.2 by Handley Page at Radlett, being delivered to the RAF in 1953 for familiarisation and work-ups by Canberra PR.3 crews with 540 Sqdn at RAF Benson. Moved to 57 Sqdn at Cottesmore and eventually sold to BAC in 1969, 'B' Class marks of G27-182 being allocated. After around five years it was re-delivered to the Royal Navy, now configured as a TT.18 target tug for the FRADU at Yeovilton, even completing a first sojourn in Florida when detached to NAS Key West in 1978. After storage at St Athan from 1989, sold in the US for trials work and moved to VAC in 2012

The third from last of the 199 Tigers built for the USN. Not sure about the authenticity of the colours, but this aircraft did fly with the Blue Angels in the early 1960s and also VT-23 before being SOC at MCAS Cherry Point in 1964. Ironically, the museum's other Tiger, an early F9F-9 (redesignated F-11F-1 in 1955), is painted in Blue Angels colours despite not having been used by them.
