Painted in the markings of Jimmy Doolittle's Mitchell, this is in fact 44-30854 which was the last B-25 in the USAF inventory and made the final flight of the type when ferried from Turner AFB to Eglin for preservation in May 1960. It is on loan from the National Museum of the USAF, that has its own B-25 painted to represent Doolittle's machine, which ran out of fuel after the famous raid on Tokyo from USS Hornet in April 1942.
