Two Boulton Paul Balliols survive in Sri Lanka in the excellent museum in Colombo-Ratmalana. First reported in the museum in September 1993, this is one of twelve Balliols operated from 1954 by the Royal Ceylon Air Force, the predecessor of today's Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF). Ceylon was the only export customer for this type of aircraft. This photo is copyright © Wim Sonneveld, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
