This aircraft carried the Irish marks EI-APA from December 1965 to October 1968, but it's claim to fame is that in took part in the 1969 London-Australia air race. On 10th July 1998 it was was damaged when it it tipped on its nose after landing at a private strip at Ballymena, Northern Ireland. It was subsequently repaired and visited the PFA Rally at Kemble in August 2006, but its Certificate of Airworthiness expired in April 2008 and the registration was cancelled on 23rd June 2014. Its wings are said to have been used in the restoration of sister-ship G-BSED.
