Hitler's Deputy, Rudolph Hess crashed this aircraft in Scotland on May 10th 1941, apparently on his way to try to negotiate a cease-fire with the British. He parachuted to safety and was imprisoned and later tried for War crimes and imprisoned for life in Spandau Prison. This substantial section of fuselage is generally in the Imperial War Museum in London This photo is copyright © Mick Bajcar, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
