This aircraft started life in 1955 as Beech E18S N46M, converted to Volpar Turboliner II configuration by Volpar Inc. at Van Nuys in 1975 and re-registered N900WA "Alaskan Trader" for Winship Air Service at Anchorage, AK. It was sold to Troy Air at Anchorage in 1982 and re-registered N900TH in July 1985, but sadly it was severely damaged when attempting an overweight out of C of G take off at Anchorage in January 1990, and although subsequently acquired by Connie Kalitta Services at Willow Run, MI., it never flew again.
