C-1 has been used by the Netherlands Air Force for 36 years, between 1960 and 1996. The aircraft was in such good condition, that it could be flown in Africa thereafter for over ten years more; it was last noted active as 9Q-CLN with Air Tropique in 2007; in 2015 it was seen in storage at Kinshasa.
