First flight December 12th 1987 and delivered to SAS December 31st 1987 as one of two MD-83s ordered originally for replacing DC-8s on routes to the Middle East and to Greenland. December 31st 1991 it was leased to Scanair for two years. November 1st 1993 SAS returned. In 2000 it was repainted to tthe new SAS "colours". May 22nd 2003 N862GA Allegiant Air.
