slide from Donnie Head. - Republic Airlines was formed by the merger of Southern Airways and North Central Airlines in July 1979; N95S came from Southern and still shows their old colour scheme with the new Republic titles. After Republic was integrated into Northwest Airlines in 1986, this DC-9 continued flying until 1999, when it was retired at Ardmore and later broken up.
