In the mid 1960s Kenneth Woolley bought G-AFJB for £20 to save it from being scrapped. He repainted it in wartime ATA markings with its impressment serial as no original photos existed. It was displayed in the garden of his home at Berkeswell, Warwickshire, until he built a blister hangar to house it in. It was restored to the register as G-AFJB on 2 January 1973 and still flying by 2015. This photo was added on 25 March 2025, and has since been viewed 90 times. |
