Representing the type as used by the Indian Navy, this HT-2 is seen on display at the Indian Naval Aviation Museum at Dabolim, Goa. The HT-2 is a two-seat primary trainer designed and built in India. It was the first HAL company design to enter production in 1953 for the Indian Air Force and Navy, where it replaced the de Havilland Tiger Moth. 172 HT-2s were built and the type was retired in 1990.
