My late father taking a joy ride over Coventry, Warwickshire, in the Avro 504N (owned by Herbert Basil Goldwyn Michelmore) operated by Tom Campbell-Black's flying circus. He was 15 and it was his first flight. He evidently became "hooked" as he went on to fly Lancasters with No. 626 Sqdn, RAF. This photo was added on 12 April 2025, and has since been viewed 9 times. |
