Almost complete but waiting for the engine, colour scheme was silver overall with dark green registration and wavy trim line. This was the original aircraft. The fuselage was destroyed prior to discovery by Bob Ogden who gifted the project to the newly-formed Midland Aircraft Preservation Society in 1968/69 and a new fuselage was built in Coundon, Coventry.
