Alaska Airlines leased one of Eastern Airlines' 727s before taking delivery of this, their own first 727 from Boeing on October 27, 1966. Sold to Bradley Air Services for their scheduled First Air service in December 1985 as C-FRST . The airliner was retired in 2000 at Ottawa, ONT and used by Canada's National Research Council for aging airframe investigation. Broken up in 2007.
