This ex US Navy P-3B LW was delivered to AMARC in October 1992. The aircraft received inventory code 2P0092 and remained in storage at Davis Monthan up to September 1995. It was selected for Foreign Military Sales to Greece and delivered via Rota (Spain) to 353 MNAS on 20 June 1996. The aircraft was earmarked for modification to P-3HN and was modified by Helenic Aerospace Industries at Tanagra and redelivered in a splendid grey colorscheme to 353 MNAS in 2019. In the background 153441 (with engines) 152747 (no engines) can be seen.

This water bomber is former Yugoslavia Air Force serial 72204 and was delivered to 355 MTM in late 1995. It carried serial 72204 (up to late 1996) and was later reregistered to 1070. The beauty unfortunately crashed during firefighting mission of a very big fire at Neapoli, Lakonia on 17 July 2015. The aircraft crash-landed just out of the village of Faraklo. Luckily the crew was able to escape the Scooper. The CL-215 was then consumed by the forest fire and completely destroyed.

A CL-215-III, delivered to 355 MTM at Elefsis on 29 May 1979. The aircraft was written off on 25 July 2023 when battling a wildfire as part of firefighting operations in Karystos, Evia. The CL-215 clipped a tree with its right float while conducting a drop, made a sharp right turn, before stalling and crashing into a mountainside.

This is former Norwegian Albatross 51-7203/WH-C. The aircraft became surplus in the Scandinavian country from 14 January 1969 and was delivered two months later to 353 MNAS 'Triena' at Elefsis. The Albatross was named Ἥφαιστος (Hephaistos) with the Diikissi Aeroporias Naftikou (Greek Naval Aviation) and flew up to 1995 after which the final Greek HU-16Bs were retired. 203 is preserved at its homebase from April 1997 onwards.

This CL-215-II carried once Canadair test registration C-GUMW. The Scooper was delivered to 355 MTM of the Hellenic Air Force on 23 August 1976.

This Huey was delivered to Greece on 7 July 1978. It was first assigned to the Hellenic Army (as ES-661) with 1 TEAS, but transferred to the Hellenic Air Force by late 1988, early 1989. It was placed in storage at Elefsis by 2012.

This Scooper was delivered to 355 MTM at Elefsis on 7 May 1990 and carried Canadair test registration C-GKEV.

This water bomber is a former Yugoslavia Air Force aircraft (ex 72205) Yugoslavia AF. The Canadair was delivered to Greece with 355 MTM at Elefsis in late 1995. It carried serial 72205 up to late 1996. The Scooper was reregistered to 1110 since.

Former N49638 and delivered to Greece in May 1976. The splendid looking VIP-helicopter belongs to the inventory of 358 MED.

A 1976/1977 built Huey. The helicopter was delivered to Greece on 9 May 1977 and assigned to 358 MED. 4414 was involved in an crash at Athens-Hellenikon on 19 February 1997 but was repaired. It was again involved in an accident early 2001, but again repaired. Possibly this is a cat...

This ex US Navy P-3B LW made its first flight on 3 August 1967. The Maritime Patrol Aircraft was retired to AMARC with inventory code 2P0104 in November 1993 and subsequently selected for Foreign Military Sales to Greece. The Orion departed AMARC in September 1995, was flown over to Raytheon at Greenville (TX) for modifications and assigned to 353 MNAS from May 1996. The LW was placed into storage by late 2009, flown over to Hellenic Aerospace Industries at Tanagra in late 2011 as it was earmarked for modification to P-3HN. That program for 153441 started in 2016, but was not finished in 2021.

This former US Navy VP-66 P-3A (BuNo 152183) was placed into storage at AMARC with inventory code 2P0030 from December 1989. The aircraft was selected for FMS to Greece and departed the Arizona storage depot in August 1995. The Orion was seen with Hellenic Aerospace in 1996 and seen at Elefsis in April 1997. It was most probably never assigned as operational aircraft with 353 MNAS and only used for ground training. The P-3A leads some other dumped aircraft, HU-16B Albatross 517201, 517177 and 510068.

This former US Navy P-3B LW (BuNo 152747) made its first flight on 20 July 1966. After a long US Navy career the P-3 was placed in storage at AMARC with inventory code 2P0135 in March 1994. It remained in storage up to September 1995, after which it was selected for Foreign Military Sales to Greece. It departed AMARC in April 1996 for Raytheon where it was modified. The LW was delivered to Greece by mid 1997, and assigned to 353 MNAS at Elefsis. The P-3B LW is seen here stored (and cannibalized at Elefsis. It most probably never flew since. In the background CL-215s 1112 and 2039 can be seen at the dump.

This Dromader belonged to the inventory of 359 MED MAEDY. Belonged, as the aircraft crashed on 8 August 2021. The firefighter was destroyed following an impact with mountainous terrain while fighting a forest fire in Lagopodo-Macherado, Zakynthos, Greece. Luckily, the pilot survived the impact of the robust aircraft without injuries.

This Super Puma was handed over to Greece on 16 December 2009 (former Eurocopter test registration F-WQDD). The helicopter was inititally operated by Liminiko Soma as well as the Hellenic Air Force and beared no Greek roundel (because of mixed civil/military operations). The Super Puma was added to the inventory of 358 MED from late 1999 and was transferred to newly established 384 MED during mid-2006.

EKAB is the abbrivation of the National Centres for Emergency Care in Greece. There are a dozen EKAB stations in the major Greek cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Iraklion (Crete), Larissa, Kavala, Ioannina, Alexandroupolis, Lamia, Mytilini, Tripoli and Kozani. The Air ambulance in Greece is a service provided by government agencies including the Hellenic Air Force and by private-sector companies. The EKAB operates with three A109s of which this 11063 is one. This A109 Power was formerly registered as SX-HDS.

This C-27J (former Alenia CSX62238) belongs to the inventory of 354 MTM, based at Elefsis.

A HU-16B Albatross of the 353 MNAS, a squadron that operated the Albatross from 1969 up to 1995. This aircraft flew before delivery to Greece as 51-7190/WH-F with the Royal Norwegian Air Force. The Albatross is currently preserved at Tatoi (Greece).

This is former USAF 58-0723 (last noted with the 731st Airlift Squadron) and delivered to Greece 356 MTM in September 1992. It was overhauled with Hellenic Aerospace Industries (HAI) at Tanagra in July 1995. After a short operational life the Herc was reported as stored at Tanagra in March 1998. Then it was reported with L3 Communications/Spar Aerospace Limited at Edmonton IAP (Alberta, Canada) in April 2006 for an aviation suite upgrade. It started to fly again with 356 MTM from September 2006 up to November 2013. Since then the Bravo was reported as withdrawn from use with HAI at Tanagra.
